When Danny was little, he decorated his mom's house with baseballs from games. Still to this day, you will find baseballs on shelves and on other home decor.
Accident
Danny was in a bad car accident and had to sit the bench in his game later that week. During the game, he asked his coach if he could at least bat one inning. Hesitant, his coach said yes. Danny went to the plate and hit a HOMERUN. Was God talking?
Graduation
Danny couldn't attend his high school graduation because he had a season kickoff game in Cleveland. So, he took his graduation cap and gown and had his graduation celebration on the diamond and ran the bases!
Traveling
Danny traveled from Cleveland to Toledo, then back to Cleveland, and then to Mansfield, all in one day just to play baseball. 14 hours of baseball was played that day!

People ask if Danny has ever been good at other things besides baseball. The answer is YES. He could rock a set of tenor drums in high school.
