DANNY KING, Founder
Danny is a college senior who is playing baseball at The University of Northwestern Ohio. He has earned his Universal HVAC certification and is currently pursuing a Business degree. He was inspired to begin a charity that gives the youth a chance to play baseball or softball, just as he was given the chance to play throughout his baseball career. Danny has played the sport of baseball for approximately 16 years and currently devotes a lot of time training, coaching, and speaking out about The ChangeUp Charity and believing in yourself.
SCOTT RUSSELL, PresidentScott has been coaching baseball and softball for over 25 years, coaching both teams and individuals. He most recently served as Assistant Coach for Ohio Pitbulls Baseball, helping lead them to the Ohio Prospects league championship and winning it all after an undefeated season. He has been very instrumental coaching his son, Danny, and was even responsible for teaching Danny the "art" of catching. Scott currently works at Crestline Exempted School District as Facilities Director. He has been married to his wife, Kelby, for nearly 10 years, and together they enjoy their children, two puppies....and baseball.
KELBY KING, Vice PresidentKelby, Danny's mom, is a long-time marketing and public relations professional. For the last several years, she has been the host of WMFD's TV talk show, "Sittin' Down with Kelby King", interviewing amazing individuals with inspiring stories and talents. Kelby has also entertained audiences as an on-air personality with Mix 106.1 in Mansfield. She recently wrote and produced a movie called "The Final Contestant" which has a heavy focus on bullying awareness. Kelby played softball during her K-12 years, however, she began to truly appreciate the game of baseball through Danny's journey. She enjoys watching her husband, Scott, and Danny coach together when Danny is not playing and has even become a "master" at keeping the game book....while doing GameChanger at the same time!
SCOTT & LYNNETTE HAGERMAN, Board Chair / SecretaryScott has been involved with coaching baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball for 9 years with youth, middle school, OYS, and high school teams. His lovely wife, Lynnette, has always been by Scott's side to help with hours of scheduling games, keeping book for both baseball and softball games, and always being tyhere to cheer and encourage the players. Scott and Lynnette have been extremely supportive of Danny King as well as all of his endeavors over the years. Scott graciously accepted the position of Chairman of the Board, and his lovely wife is our Secretary.
SHEILA DICKSON, Board MemberSheila is the co-owner and operator of Zoom-N-Groom, a mobile dog grooming salon that brings the salon right to your doorstep. With a passion for animals and their welfare, Sheila has dedicated her career to making sure every furry friend look sand feels their best. In addition to running her successful business, Sheila can also be found cohosting "Saturday Night Flashback" on Mix 106.1, where she shares her love for music and entertainment with listeners across the community. Sheila has demonstrated her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around her by serving as a past Board Member and President of the Humane Society of Richland County and a past Board Member of Kiwanis of Mansfield. Sheila is happily married to Scott Dickson and shares her home with four dogs and three cats. In her free time, she can be found cheering on her grandchildren at their softball and baseball gamees, spending time in nature, camping and hiking, as well as indulging her creative side with arts and crafts.
SHANE GROVE, Board MemberShane is a lot more than your neighborhood mailman! He has been delivering mail for as long as he can remember. On the side, Shane has an impressive career writing songs for many well-known music artists and has begun writing movies as well. Shane, himself, has appeared in several movies and continues to have a passion for music and writing. He is a coach of youth sports in the Bucyrus area and is the funniest member of the board to date!
BRIAN KNOWLTON, Board MemberBrian has had a very successful career, serving in a leardership role for 20 years in property management for commercial properties. He has spent the last 6 years helping all the local ball associations redo fields and educating them on proper field maintenance techniques. Brian is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and boating. He is currently coaching his 5 year old son, along with his team, in Shelby. Another interesting fact is that Brian grew up in Waynesfield on a dairy farm and enjoyed all sports as a kid, with football being his favorite.

SCOTT DICKSON, Board MemberAs a 20+ year Freemason, Scott has dedicated himself to the organization's principles or brotherhood and philanthropy. His childhood fascination with airplanes blossomed into having earned his wings as a Registered Sport Pilot in 2002. Scott has spent over 30 years honing his craft in Architectural Engineering, with a focus on electrical design, lighting, and controls. Scott also dedicated his time to coaching his granddaughter's softball team, sharing his expertise and passion for the game. He and his wife, Sheila, own and operate the mobile dog grooming salon, Zoom-N-Groom. Scott focuses on the maintenance and lends a hand with a dog or two now and then! As a skilled fly fisherman, he can be found casting his line and enjoying the great outdoors any time he gets the chance.
